Cydni’s School of Dance provides a safe nurturing environment where dance is the vessel by which a child can gain self esteem and valuable skills including teamwork and leadership. It is our desire to train dancers that exemplify grace, poise, and selflessness. CSD will prepare students who have the desire to enter a career in the performing arts as well as those who want to dance for fun.
We not only train our students in the performing arts, we impart on them the ability to teach others these same methods. Opportunities are available to our students to assist in all levels and subjects of dance, gaining the correct vocabulary and skills necessary to mold young new dancers. ITS A DANCERS WORLD AT CSD!!!

Meet Mrs Cydni
Mrs Cydni has been dancing since the age of three. She studied with the renowned teacher Linda Lavender Ford in West Monroe La. where she was also a member of the Twin City Ballet Company. Mrs Cydni opened her studio in 1983 and her passion for dance has been instilled in all her students. Read more on our staff page.

COMPETITION IS NOT REQUIRED AT CSD
CSD strives to train well rounded dancers! Many of our students benefit from weekly combination core classes. Membership on our competition teams is NOT mandatory. Even though Mrs Cydni has competition teams she still enjoys her hobbies such as fishing and hunting with her husband. She also enjoys weekends with her family on the lake
